  • Kings Park and Botanic Garden is a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. 
  • It has fantastic views of the city skyline and is the perfect spot for a picnic, a scenic walk, or simply to chill out.

Explore Fremantle

  • Take a short trip to the port city of Fremantle, just half an hour by train.

Rottnest Island Adventure

  • Hop on a ferry and escape to the idyllic Rottnest Island. 
  • Famous for its adorable natives, you have to see the quokkas. Don’t forget to get a quokka selfie – it’s basically mandatory!

  • Swan Valley is only 25 minutes away from Perth, and is home to great vineyards and wineries. It’s super easy to get to!
  • Spend a day sampling award-winning wines with your mates whilst soaking in the picturesque vineyard views.

Adventure at Adventure World:

  • For an adrenaline-fueled day out, head to Adventure World, Perth’s iconic theme park. 
  • It has everything from water slides to go-karts, there’s no shortage of excitement here. 

Visit John Forrest National Park

  • Not far from the city, John Forrest National Park is beautiful, and is a nature enthusiasts dream!
  • There are plenty of hikes and trails to explore, notably the 15km Eagle View Walk Trail being a pretty popular one. Perfect if you want to escape the city and enjoy the bush.

  • There are plenty of restaurants where you can also watch the sunset from whilst enjoying a couple of cheeky cocktails – Hamptons is definitely a stand-out!
